Cookie Policy

Version 1.0 · Effective 2026-04-07

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember your preferences, keep you signed in, and understand how the site is used. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and pixel tags.

2. Cookie Categories

We organize the cookies we use into four categories:

Strictly Necessary

Required for the Service to function. These handle authentication, session management, security tokens (CSRF), and load balancing. They cannot be disabled without breaking core functionality. No consent is required.

Performance / Analytics

Help us understand how the Service is used by collecting anonymous usage metrics such as page views, feature usage, and page load times. We use this data to identify issues and improve the experience.

Functional

Remember your preferences such as display settings, sidebar state, and recently visited pages. Disabling these may result in a less personalized experience.

Marketing / Targeting

We do not currently use marketing or advertising cookies. If this changes in the future, this policy will be updated with at least thirty (30) days' notice.

This table is updated as cookies are added or removed.

4. Third-Party Cookies

We may use third-party analytics services to understand how the Service is used. These services may set their own cookies. Each provider's privacy policy governs their use of data:

  • Vercel Analytics — anonymous page view and performance metrics (no personally identifiable information collected)

We do not use third-party advertising networks or cross-site tracking services.

5. Cookie Consent (EU/UK Users)

If you access the Service from the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we display a cookie consent banner on your first visit. This banner allows you to:

  • Accept all cookies — enables all cookie categories, including performance/analytics and functional cookies
  • Reject non-essential cookies — only strictly necessary cookies are set; analytics and functional cookies are disabled
  • Manage preferences — choose which categories of non-essential cookies to enable or disable

Strictly necessary cookies are set regardless of your consent choice, as they are required for the Service to function. In accordance with the EU ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC as amended) and the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003, non-essential cookies are not set until you provide affirmative consent.

You may change your cookie preferences at any time by clicking the “Cookie Preferences” link in the footer of the Service or by clearing your browser cookies (which will trigger the consent banner again on your next visit).

6. How to Manage Cookies (All Users)

In addition to the consent banner described above, most browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. Common options include:

  • Blocking all cookies or only third-party cookies
  • Deleting existing cookies
  • Receiving a prompt before a cookie is set
  • Enabling Global Privacy Control (GPC), which we honor as an opt-out signal where legally required (see our Privacy Policy for details)

Disabling strictly necessary cookies may prevent you from using the Service. For browser-specific instructions, visit your browser's help documentation.

7. Web Beacons and Similar Technologies

Transactional emails (e.g., verification, password reset, invitation notifications) may contain pixel tags to confirm delivery. These do not track browsing activity outside of email delivery confirmation.

8. Changes

We may update this Cookie Policy as our practices or applicable laws change. Updates will be posted at /legal/cookies with a new effective date.
